I look after the group’s legal affairs so that the business can concentrate on what it does best – grow oak trees from acorns in a creative environment. I am mainly a commercial technology and IP lawyer with various other strings to my bow, developed through many years of pragmatic working with businesses to build on ideas for growth, sale or acquisition. Prior to life as a lawyer, I ran my own music related business before selling it to retrain in the world of legal.
Outside work I love restoring period houses and dancing classical ballet. I am also a pro-bono lawyer for The Cecchetti Society Trust, a classical ballet trust which does fabulous work in the world of dance. When I am not trying to look befitting for the office, I can often be found in a pair of ballet shoes or wellies walking with my dog and my young family, who are the centre of my universe!
